Guide for authors
Abdi Basid Adan (or Abdi-Basid IBRAHIM ADAN) is a researcher in the fields of climatology, spatial modeling, statistics, econometrics, energy, and water resources. He holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in statistical and econometric methods and has been conducting climate research since 2018 as an associate researcher. He is proficient in several programming languages, notably R, Python, and MATLAB, for modeling, simulation, and statistical analysis.
He has worked on the economies of African states, providing econometric analyses for the African Union. His expertise also encompasses climate impacts, with contributions to the economic modeling and statistical simulation of renewable energies such as wind, solar, geothermal, as well as green hydrogen and ammonium, and drought and its variability patterns. He is an independent researcher and a philosopher.
Currently, his main interests focus on climate and its impact on public health.
